Golden Globes verðlaunahátíðin fer fram í 83. sinn í kvöld sunnudaginn 11. janúar á Beverly Hilton í Los Angeles. Hátíðin er sýnd í beinni á CBS og Paramount+.  Grínistinn Nikki Glaser endurtekur hlutverk sitt frá því í fyrra sem aðalkynnir.

Það eru samtökin Hollywood Foreign Press Association sem standa að hátíðinni sem verðlaunar það besta í kvikmyndum, sjónvarpsþátta- og hlaðvarpsgerð í Bandaríkjunum og öðrum löndum.

One Battle After Another er með flestar tilnefningar af kvikmyndum alls níu, þar á meðal sem besta mynd og leikstjóri. Myndin hlaut verðlaun sem besta mynd, leikstjóri og handrit á Critic´s Choice fyrir viku síðan. Hin norska Sentimental Value er næst með átta tilnefningar.

Í sjónvarpsflokki leiðir The White Lotus með sex tilnefningar, þar á eftir er Adolescence með fimm tilnefningar. Adolescence hlaut fern verðlaun á Critics Choice: besta stuttþáttaröð, besti leikari, besti aukaleikari og besta aukaleikkona í stuttþáttaröð.
