Critics’ Choice verðlaunahátíðin fór fram í 31. sinn í gær í The Barker Hangar í Santa Monica í Los Angeles. Critics’ Choice verðlaunin eru árleg verðlaun veitt fyrir það besta í kvikmynda-, sjónvarps- og streymisgeiranum, þar sem kvikmynda- og sjónvarpsgagnrýnendur (Critics Choice Association) í Bandaríkjunum kjósa tilnefningar og sigurvegara. Grínistinn og sjónvarpsþáttastjórnandinn Chelsea Handler var aðalkynnir fjórða árið í röð.
Verðlaunaflokkarnir eru fjölmargir, 23 í flokki kvikmynda og 21 í flokki sjónvarps. Hluti verðlaunanna var því kynntur án kynna og upptalningar allra tilnefndra og aðeins nöfnin sýnd á skjá og sigurvegarinn nefndur.
One Battle After Another var valin besta myndin, Paul Thomas Anderson (One Battle After Another) besti leikstjórinn og fékk hann einnig verðlaun fyrir besta handrit byggt á áður útgefnu efni, Jessie Buckley (Hamnet) besta leikkonan, Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme)
besti leikarinn, Amy Madigan (Weapons) besta leikkonan í aukahlutverki og Jacob Elordi (Frankenstein) besti leikarinn í aukahlutverki.
Í flokki kvikmynda var Sinners með flestar tilnefningar, 17 talsins, og hlaut fjögur verðlaun fyrir unga leikara/leikkonu, leikaraval og leikhóp, handrit og tónlist. One Battle After Another var með næstflestar tilnefningar, 14 talsins, og hlaut þrenn verðlaun eins og áður sagði.
The Studio var valin besta gamanþáttaröðin, Seth Rogan (The Studio) besti gamanleikarinn og Jean Smart (Hacks) besta gamanleikkonan. The Pitt var valin besta dramaþáttaröðin, Noah Wyle (The Pitt) besti dramaleikarinn og Rhea Seehorn (Pluribus) besta dramaleikkonan.
Adolescence var með flestar tilnefningar í flokki sjónvarpsþátta, sex talsins, og hlaut fjögur verðlaun fyrir bestu stuttþáttaröð, besta leikara, besta leikara í aukahlutverki, og bestu leikkonu í aukahlutverki í stuttri þáttaröð eða sjónvarpsmynd.
