Sjöundi og síðasti kafli í núgildandi stjórnarskrá landsins fjallar um mannréttindi. Hugsanlega mun mannréttindakaflinn ekki aðeins verða endurskoðaður á komandi stjórnlagaþingi heldur fluttur fremst í stjórnarskrána.

Á undan mannréttindakaflanum munu hugsanlega koma inngangsorð stjórnarskrárinnar. Slík inngangsorð er að finna í mörgum stjórnarskrám.

Sænska:
All public power in Sweden proceeds from the people.
 
Swedish democracy is founded on the free formation of opinion and on universal and equal suffrage. It shall be realised through a representative and parliamentary polity and through local self government.

Public power shall be exercised under the law. 

Finnska:
Finland is a sovereign republic.

The constitution of Finland is established in this constitutional act. The constitution shall guarantee the inviolability of human dignity and the freedom and rights of the individual and promote justice in society.
Finland participates in international co-operation for the protection of peace and human rights and for the development of society.


Bandaríska:

Tékkneska:

Slóvenska:
Proceeding from the Basic Constitutional Charter on the Sovereignty and Independence of the Republic of Slovenia, and from fundamental human rights and freedoms, and the fundamental and permanent right of the Slovene nation to self-determination; and from the historical fact that in a centuries-long struggle for national liberation we Slovenes have established our national identity and asserted our statehood, the Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia hereby adopts
